Pallavi Jha is the Executive Chairman and
Managing Director of Walchand
PeopleFirst, a fully-owned
subsidiary of the publicly listed company, Walchand
PeopleFirst Ltd. Walchand PeopleFirst has international
partnerships with some of the world's leading firms
and brands such as Dale Carnegie , USA ( training),
SHRM, USA ( HR Certification) and PerformanSe,
France ( Assessments) .
Pallavi has diversified exposure to various
management practices in areas such as training
and development, HR, consulting and business
restructuring, and lobbying, covering a wide
range of industries from media, entertainment,
technology to the financial services sector and
the engineering industry. She has been recognized
by reputed institutions such as CII and FIE Foundation
etc for her outstanding contributions.
She has been a vocal spokesperson for industry
associations , and has chaired and moderated panel
discussions involving India's leading business
leaders. She has played a pioneering role in setting
up India's first Finishing School focused on soft
-skills training, the missing ingredient in the
talent development and employability challenge
confronting Indian industry. Additionally, she
has been part of women's groups which has encouraged
first generation women entrepreneurs into taking
business initiatives.
She has singularly led the India operations into
the fastest growing region for Dale Carnegie Training,
winning several global awards for service and sales
excellence. She has been a keynote speaker and
a panel member in various forums on business, HR,
training and leadership. She has also been Chairperson
of CII, Maharashtra Council.
She was Executive Director of India's leading
construction company, HCC, an erstwhile Walchand
Group company before starting off her own ventures.
She also worked briefly in market research at Feedback
Ventures and Proctor& Gamble.
Pallavi is an MBA from Syracuse University, New
York and a graduate in humanities from St Xavier's
College, Mumbai.

Sanjay Jha is Executive Director
of Walchand PeopleFirst Ltd. He has played a key
role in the setting up of the Dale Carnegie India
operations.
TRAINING :
Sanjay has conducted several training programs
on behavioral skills, management development, and
corporate communications. The course participants
were from reputed companies such as Bharat Petroleum,
Philips India, ICICI, UTI, BSE, IDBI, DSP Merril
Lynch, Elf Lubricants, Marico Industries, Cummins,
Seagram, L&TITL, Rolta India, Mastek, Ion Exchange,
J.M. Morgan Stanley, Hikal, SBI Capital Market
etc.
Sanjay has conducted professional Management Development
Programs in the areas of Marketing, Media Training,
Internet Branding, Dot com Funding and Crisis Management
which have been extremely well received.
WORK PROFILE :
Sanjay is also Managing Director of Cricketnext.com
; the world’s most popular cricket portal
which has over 800,000 registered users and averages
over 500 million page views and 1 Billion hits
per month.
Sanjay, in his last assignment was Senior Vice
President with Zurich Financial
( earlier known as Threadneedle AMC Ltd.) in charge
of Marketing & Sales of mutual funds. He successfully
launched the Top 200 Fund and the High Interest
fund.
His prior assignments include a successful career
record as Vice President, Alliance Capital, New
York (USA), wherein he was responsible for launching,
distribution, sales, marketing and advertising
of offshore and local funds.
At Alliance, Sanjay was instrumental in launching
the highly successful Alliance 95 Fund, which was
followed by Alliance Tax-Relief 96. He had also
pioneered a new distribution strategy for mutual
funds through the retail network of bank branches.
He was Assistant Vice President, Bank of America
and Senior Manager (Marketing) with ANZ Grindlays
Bank Plc, where he gained wide experience in both
Corporate and Retail Banking.
In his banking career, one of his most challenging
assignments was conducting Corporate Training program
for the complete management staff in automated
banking software. He has also handled deposit mobilisation
and operational management of NRI Deposits.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND :
Sanjay is an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur, and an MA
(Economics) from the Gokhale Institute of Politics
and Economics, University of Pune.
He graduated in Economics with distinction from
Fergusson College, Pune.
COLUMNIST AND WRITER :
Sanjay is a regular columnist and contributor with
several newspapers and magazines such as Business
Standard, Business Today, Mid-Day, Indian Express
etc. and a visiting faculty at several leading
business schools including IIM, Sydhenam Management
Institute, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management/
Mass Communications etc.
TV ANCHOR :
He has anchored celebrity chat shows with business
leaders on Zee TV’s educational channel Zed
TV, - having interviewed C. V Bhave of NSDL, F.
C Kohli of TCS, R.V. Shahi of BSES, Manoj Tirodkar
of Global Tele Systems and Parag Parikh of Parag
Parikh Finance etc. He also anchored a Quiz program
and a Business Discussion Show on Zee TV.
