Internship
All enrolled students, subject to satisfactory completion
of the 16-week classroom instruction process, would
become eligible for an 8-week corporate internship,
which would be offered as per industry requirements.
The objective of the internship is to provide exposure
to the students to the corporate world environment
during their learning stage itself. This gives them
the advantage of practicing their freshly acquired
abilities in a non-threatening environment before they
get ready for their actual employment stage.
During the internship stage, the student would be required
to participate in two contact sessions along with the
Dale Carnegie Finishing School faculty and industry
mentor for performance review and feedback
As a part of the internship process, each student will
be expected to:
- Work at the organization as a full time adjunct member,
fit into the organization schedule and fulfill all
agreed upon responsibilities and objectives.
- Follow policies and duties outlined by the organization
and meet all scheduled commitments and arrangements made
in connection with the internship
- Perform work assignments to the best of his/ her abilities
- Become a participating member of the organizations
staff
- Function in a professional manner at all times
- Submit reports in a timely manner as required by the
organization
- Submit final summary report at the end of the internship
- Meet established internship objectives
